The Lochlane & Laggan Fishings - River Earn

Perthshire (Tributary of River Tay)

Crieff: 2 Miles Perth: 17 Miles

Edinburgh: 47 Miles Glasgow: 50 Miles

The Lochlane and Laggan fishings comprise 2.1 miles of double bank and 0.32 miles of single bank fishing extending from the new Strowan Bridge downstream to the confluence of the Turret Burn (inclusive of 0.16 miles of right bank of the Turret Burn) with the River Earn.

Lochlane and Laggan (also known as Lady Mary’s Walk) beats, are amoungst the most attractive beats on the River Earn, easily accessible being only 2 miles from Crieff, yet very private and secluded.

The Water has been transformed by the present owners. Improvements to the river banks, conveniance of vehicle access to all four beats and comforts within the fishing huts are amounst the various items that have received attention.

The fishing at Lochlane, lower Lochlane is split into 4 beats: Upper Lochlane, Middle Lochlane, Lower Lochlane and Laggan each providing exciting and varied fishing for three rods on a rotating basis. Excellent sport is available throughout the season which is open from the 1st February to 31st of October. In particular September and October provide the best Salmon fishing whilst the majority of Sea Trout catches, which can be excellent, occur during the midsummer months.Why not check out the 6 year catch records.
