Gart Farm Fishings - River Teith - Perthshire Callander: 2 Miles Stirling: 13 Miles Gart Farm fishings are situated approximately 2 miles Southwest of Callander, immediately down stream of Gart Estate and opposite Cambusmore Estate fishings. The fishings comprise of approximately 1 mile of single (North Bank), for a maximum of 2 rods per day. The owner does have the right of an additional 2 rods for occasional use. The river flows through delightful scenery and there are numerous named pools, providing runs streams and glides offering good fly fishing. The most productive pool is the “Wheel Pool”, which looks as though it has been tailor made for fly fishing. No bait fishing is allowed, however spinning is permitted at all heights. |

Cambusmore Fishings - River Teith - Perthshire Callander: 3 Miles Stirling: 12 Miles The Cambusmore fishings are situated between Doune and Callander, and extend for approcimately 4 miles, with single and double bank fishing. The fishings are split into four beats. Beats 1, 2, 3 and 4. The river flows through delightful scenery and there are 26 named pools, providing beautiful runs, streams and glides, offering top quality fly fishing. No bait fishing is allowed, however spinning is permitted at all heights. Beats 1, 2, 3 and 4 can facilitate up to three rods. Spring fishing can be extremely good, with opening day 1993 producing 5 Salmon up to 16lb. February to April provide good sport with the peak months being September and October. Weekly catches can exceed 50 Salmon. Recent Salmon catches are as follows. |

1993 through to 1997 will be remembered for the extreme drought conditions during Summer and early Autumn, hence the temporary reduction in catches. Sea Trout fishing is not regularly practised, however those wishing to pursue this nocturnal activity can be rewarded with good sport during the months of May to August. |

Large Salmon abound on this system. During 1986 a fish of 44.5 lbs was landed on this estate. |
